The richness of the scriptures is unlimited. Each passage is full of vast depth that we can not fathom and we have the honor of searching out the priceless treasures that are to be found in the Word of the LORD. (Proverbs 25:2) One way we are learning to search out these treasures found in scripture is to create art with His words as our foundation, To be inspired by the Master Artist Himself. This is part of our act of worship unto Him. Showcasing images the bear His heartbeat, His joy, His love, His beauty, holiness, and character. We believe He is found in every facet, every crevice of our lives. His handiwork, His artwork is all around us in the daily moments each priceless moment and mundane moment of marriage, fatherhood, motherhood, life and everything in between. He is visible if we only look.
Our heart behind our photography is to capture a reflection of the heart and perspective of the Master Artist. This year the Lord has been refining our business and causing us to dig deeper into capturing life and memories with His eye sight. Capturing the essence of each beautiful gift, each precious season, each moment that turns into a legacy. One way we are drawing deep from the well of HIS vision is taking inspiration from the Living Word of God to create a Living Reflection of rich and moving images that display an aspect of the Lord. We drew from the inspiration of Psalm 23 for these images from our 1:1 workshop with Jennifer Blair. May we rejoice in the unwavering confidence that the Lord is our shepherd who delights in us, tenderly cares for us, leads us in the path of righteousness for his name sake. He fills our cups to overflowing, he restores our souls, he refreshes our hearts, he fills our lives with peace that surpasses all understanding. What beautiful promises to rest in!
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
